We’re really trying to promote more independence for our kids with having them make their own breakfasts and simple meals. However, with kids taking charge in the kitchen, there’s a downside – more messes. Like spilled milkon the floor for breakfast, etc.. Creamy Avocado Green Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen fruit (organic if possible) – I used pineapple, banana, and strawberries. You can use any kind.
1 cup organic milk
1 small avocado
1 cup baby spinach or kale (fresh or frozen)
1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder

When my son went to serve himself, he did pour a little too much into his glass and it dripped on my floor. However, I wasn’t worried because this is part of learning how to be independent.
